GROSSMONT COLLEGE — When they solicit Grossmont students’ signatures for the three forms on their table, Tony Willison and Randy Shimizu get, according to them, no hourly wage or compensation for signatures for a petition to overturn Prop 8, receive nothing when someone fills-out a Voter Registration, and are paid only one dollar for every signature on a petition whose aim is to create a new political party – The Americans Elect.

Where the Obamas will give commencement addresses

WASHINGTON, D.C. (USANN4)–Commencement season is still a ways off.   However, President Obama is already making plans to speak to graduates this spring.   He will deliver the keynote address during the Coast Guard Academy’s 130th commencement on May 18th in New London, Connecticut.

Obama will also speak at Miami Dade College on April 29th.   Meanwhile, first lady Michelle Obama will deliver commencement addresses at the University of Northern Iowa, Spelman College, and Quantico Middle High School.   Mrs. Obama will also be the banquet speaker for the Class of 2011 at West Point.
