Napolitano urges vigilance at NCAA tournament

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Press  Release)–Fans celebrating March Madness are being asked to remain vigilant.   People attending games in this year’s NCAA basketball tournaments are encouraged to report any suspicious behavior they see.   Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and NCAA President Mark Emmert unveil a series of posters and a public-service announcement.

The announcement will be played at all tournament games.   It reminds spectators, quote, “If you see something, say something.”   Napolitano used unattended bags and luggage as examples of “suspicious behavior.”   She said there have not been any specific threats to NCAA events.
